Chief Executive Officer

Suhaimi ZAINUL-ABIDIN,

Chief Executive Officer

Suhaimi joined Quantedge Capital as Director and General Counsel in 2013 and took on the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Prior to that, he was a banking & finance partner at the pre-eminent Singapore law firm of Allen & Gledhill LLP. Suhaimi holds several board and council member positions on Singapore government-linked entities, non-profit organisations and industry associations, including National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE), WWF-Singapore, Alternative Investment Managers Association and MAS' Corporate Governance Advisory Council. He completed his Advanced Management Program at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Co-Chief Investment Officers

CHANG Yi Chian,

Co-Chief Investment Officer

Yi Chian joined Quantedge Capital in 2013 and took on the role of co-CIO in 2018. Prior to joining Quantedge, Yi Chian was a portfolio manager at PIMCO following a career in the Singapore Administrative Service, where he held various appointments in the Singapore Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Trade & Industry. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from UPenn, a Masters in Economics from Yale and an MBA from MIT.

Humberto VALDES,

Co-Chief Investment Officer

Humberto joined Quantedge Capital in 2013 and took on the role of co-CIO in 2018. Prior to joining Quantedge, Humberto was a specialty reinsurance underwriter at Renaissance Re, after stints as an actuarial consultant at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson) and a reinsurance pricing actuary at Max Re (now Markel). He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Physics from MIT, and a Masters in Physics from Berkeley. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Sam HUI,

President of Quantedge USA

Sam joined Quantedge in 2015 and took on the role of President of Quantedge USA in 2022. Prior to joining Quantedge, Sam worked in New York as a quantitative researcher and trader for equities at Morgan Stanley. Sam received his Bachelor of Science in Economics (summa cum laude) from the Wharton School and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science (summa cum laude) from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, both through the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania.

Chief Risk Officer

Alexis THAM,

Chief Risk Officer

Alexis joined Quantedge in 2010 and took on the role of Chief Risk Officer in 2024. She began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Audit and Assurance practice, before joining Quantedge Capital in 2010. She received her Masters of Science in Risk and Investment Management from EDHEC Business school and Bachelor of Accountancy with Honors from Nanyang Technological University. Alexis is fully qualified as a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA Singapore) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Leonardo JONG,

Portfolio Manager

Leonardo joined Quantedge in 2015. He is currently a portfolio manager, and was previously the co-team lead of the fund’s macro long-short strategy. Leonardo received his Bachelor of Science in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Michael SHE,

Portfolio Manager

Michael joined Quantedge in 2014. He is currently a portfolio manager, and was previously the co-team lead of the fund’s equity long-short strategy. Michael received his Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University and his Master of Science in Data Science from Columbia University.

HO Jun Wei,

Head of Research

Jun Wei joined Quantedge in 2014. He currently heads the Quantitative Research team, and was previously the co-team lead of the fund’s equity long-short strategy. Jun Wei received his Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, and a Master in Finance from Princeton University.

General Counsel

Elsa GOH,

General Counsel

Elsa joined Quantedge in 2017 and took on the role of General Counsel in 2022. She is also a Director of Quantedge Capital. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Laws from New York University. Prior to joining Quantedge, Elsa served as a Justices’ Law Clerk with the Supreme Court of Singapore and thereafter practiced as a lawyer at Clifford Chance Asia in Singapore.

Matthew LIM,

Co-Head of Trading

Matthew assumed his current role as co-Head of Trading in 2021. Prior to this, he served as co-Chief Operating Officer as well as Director of Quantitative Research during his tenure in Quantedge Capital. Prior to joining Quantedge in 2012, Matthew worked in Bermuda for Orbis Investment in the areas of Trading, Technology and Project Management. Before Orbis, he worked in the Defence Science and Technology Agency of Singapore. Matthew received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science (highest distinction) from the University of California, Berkeley and his Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University. He holds the CFA and FRM designations and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Gerald KOH,

Co-Head of Trading

Gerald joined Quantedge in 2014 as a quantitative researcher, working on the fund's equities and futures strategies. He transitioned to a Trading role in 2018 and was appointed to the role of Co-Head of Trading in 2024. Gerald received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from University College London.

GOH Boon Leng,

Co-Head of Trading

Boon Leng joined Quantedge in 2015. He was appointed to the role of Co-Head of Trading in 2024, and was previously the co-team lead of the funds' rates long-short strategy. Boon Leng received his Bachelor of Business Administration (Accountancy) and Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from National University of Singapore.

Kevin TAN,

Head of US Trading

Kevin joined Quantedge in 2019 as a quantitative researcher on the insurance-linked securities desk. He was appointed to the role of Head of US Trading in 2025. Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Dartmouth College. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

TEO Kai Xiang,

Listed Team Lead

Kai Xiang joined Quantedge in 2019 and was appointed to the role of Co-Head of Listed Trading in 2025. Prior to joining the trading team, he was a quantitative researcher on the Fixed Income and Futures long short strategy team. Kai Xiang received his Bachelor of Engineering from Singapore University of Technology and Design.

Hans LI,

Listed Team Lead

Hans joined Quantedge in 2019 and was appointed to the role of Co-Head of Listed Trading in 2025. Prior to joining the trading team, he was a quantitative researcher on the Equities and Futures long short strategy team. Hans received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Minor in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Daryl KOO,

OTC Team Lead

Daryl joined Quantedge in 2020 and was appointed to the role of Co-Head of OTC Trading in 2025. He has been with the trading team since joining the firm. Daryl received his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from the National University of Singapore and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, within the Machine Learning Research Group.

CHEN Mengmei,

OTC Team Lead

Mengmei joined Quantedge in 2021 and was appointed to the role of Co-Head of OTC Trading in 2025. She has been with the trading team since joining the firm. Mengmei received her Bachelor of Business (Finance) and Master of Science (Financial Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University.

Raelynn LOW,

OTC Team Lead

Raelynn joined Quantedge in 2021 and was appointed to the role of Co-Head of OTC Trading in 2025. She has been with the trading team since joining the firm. Raelynn received her Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Science (Financial Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University.

Keith LEUNG,

Co-Head of Investor Relations

Keith joined Quantedge in 2014 as a quantitative researcher and was working in both Singapore and New York on the Equities and Fixed Income desk. He assumed the role of Co-Head of Investor Relations in 2022. Prior to joining Quantedge, Keith worked for M&G Investments in London on the Global Equities team. Keith received his Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts in Economics and Management at the University of Oxford. While at Oxford, he simultaneously completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of London. He holds the FRM certification.

Meeshell KOH,

Co-Head of Investor Relations

Meeshell joined Quantedge in 2012 and, prior to her appointment as Co-Head of Investor Relations in 2026, served as Head of Investor Services. Before joining Quantedge, she worked at HSBC and Ernst & Young. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Singapore Management University and a Master of Science (Asset and Wealth Management) from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.

Andrea WONG,

VP, Investor Relations

Andrea joined Quantedge in 2026 as VP of Investor Relations. She previously served as a Subsidiaries Relationship Manager at Citibank, working across both the Hong Kong and Singapore offices. She holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Alexander CHEONG,

VP, Investor Relations

Alexander joined Quantedge in 2026 as VP of Investor Relations. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a Relationship Manager at Bank of Singapore and HSBC. Throughout his career in wealth management, he managed comprehensive cross-border desks covering Southeast Asia and the EU.

Chermaine GOH,

Co-Head of Investor Services

Chermaine joined Quantedge in 2016 and was appointed Co-Head of Investor Services in 2026. Prior to joining Quantedge, Chermaine was an assistant relationship manager at DBS Bank and relationship officer at United Overseas Bank. Chermaine received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Singapore Institute of Management.

AU Xin Yi,

Co-Head of Investor Services

Xin Yi joined Quantedge in 2018 and was appointed Co-Head of Investor Services in 2026. Prior to joining Quantedge, she was an assistant relationship manager at JP Morgan and Credit Suisse. She graduated from UOL with a BSc in Business.

LIM Yu Han,

Co-Head of Investor Services

Yu Han joined Quantedge in 2018 and was appointed Co-Head of Investor Services in 2026. Prior to joining Quantedge, she was a credit risk analyst with OCBC Bank. She graduated from NUS with a Bachelor in Business Administration.

Operations

Augustine CHEN,

Co-Head of Singapore Operations

Augustine joined Quantedge in 2011 and started overseeing the Operations team since 2013. Prior to joining Quantedge, Augustine had worked as Operations Manager for Arjava Capital, a boutique hedge fund based in Singapore. Before that, he began his career as a fund accountant with Citco Fund Services. Augustine received his Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University.

Estelle QUEK,

Co-Head of Singapore Operations

Estelle joined Quantedge in 2013 and was appointed the role of Co-Head of Singapore Operations in 2024. She joined the company shortly after graduating from Singapore Management University (SMU), where she earned a Bachelor of Business Management with a double major in Finance and Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources.

CHANG Pei Ying,

Co-Head of US Operations

Pei Ying joined Quantedge in 2011 after graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance). Pei Ying started overseeing the Operations team since 2013, and is currently one of the Co-Heads of Operations at Quantedge USA Inc. Pei Ying additionally holds a Master in Finance from INSEAD.

Jenny LIN,

Co-Head of US Operations

Jenny joined Quantedge in 2013 and took up the role of Co-Head of Operations at Quantedge USA Inc. in 2024. Jenny holds a BS in Applied Accounting and Finance from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Jenny has passed the Series 3 exam.

Jean KIM,

Co-Head of US Operations

Jean joined Quantedge in 2013 and took up the role of Co-Head of Operations at Quantedge USA Inc. in 2024. Jean holds a BS in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Jean has completed the Associate in Reinsurance tracks ARe 143, ARe 144, ARe 145, CPCU 520. Jean has also passed the Series 3 exam.

WONG Sheau Fen,

Head of Finance

Sheau Fen is a Director of Quantedge Capital Pte Ltd. Prior to joining Quantedge in 2012, she worked as an auditor at RSM Chio Lim LLP. Sheau Fen is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).

LI Zixi,

Head of Technology

Zixi joined Quantedge in 2017 and was appointed Head of Technology in 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the National University of Singapore.
